MyHealthVault policy
Terms of Service
Effective October 11, 2026 · Version 2026-10-11
Service purpose
MyHealthVault provides tools for individuals to organize, review, export, and selectively share patient-provided health information. MyHealthVault is not a healthcare provider, insurer, pharmacy, laboratory, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical judgment.
Medical emergencies and accuracy
Do not use MyHealthVault for emergencies. Contact local emergency services or a qualified clinician. You are responsible for reviewing information before relying on or sharing it. Uploaded, manually entered, imported, and AI-extracted information may be incomplete or incorrect.
Account eligibility and security
You must be legally able to agree to these terms and provide the information you upload. Keep credentials confidential, use a unique password, enable MFA, and promptly revoke unfamiliar sharing activity. You may not access another person’s account without lawful authorization.
Your content and permissions
You retain rights in the information you provide. You grant MyHealthVault the limited permission necessary to host, process, organize, transmit, back up, secure, export, and delete that information to provide the service and honor your instructions.
Acceptable use
You may not upload unlawful material, impersonate another person, probe or bypass security controls, distribute malware, overload the service, resell access without authorization, or use MyHealthVault to make automated clinical decisions about another person.
Third-party services
MyHealthVault relies on infrastructure, authentication, document-processing, notification, and healthcare-integration providers. Their availability and terms can affect features. Connecting a third-party service authorizes the data exchange described at the time of connection.
Beta availability
During a pilot or beta, features may change, experience interruptions, or be withdrawn. MyHealthVault will not make healthcare-compliance, availability, or fitness guarantees that have not been independently validated and stated in a signed agreement.
Suspension and termination
Access may be limited to protect users, investigate abuse, satisfy legal obligations, or prevent harm. You may end the agreement by deleting your account. Where reasonably possible, users will be given an opportunity to export information before a service-wide closure.
Final legal terms
Warranty disclaimers, liability limits, dispute procedures, governing law, operator identity, and region-specific consumer rights require approval by qualified counsel and will be added before open public enrollment.
